Master of Science in Information Technology Inquire

The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program is a 12-month, 45 credit hour course of study offered through evening classes to accommodate adult learners who are currently in the workforce. The program incorporates theory with practical applications and supplements traditional lectures with hands-on case analysis and project work.

MSIT courses reflect the latest industry trends and combine broad, fundamental knowledge with concentrations in specialization areas to develop additional expertise and enhance successful career-building.

Students complete 45 total credit hours of coursework, which includes 30 credit hours of core subjects and nine credit hours of specialization courses, along with the graduate thesis.

Applicants admitted with an undergraduate degree in non-computer fields must complete 15 credits hours of Information Technology foundation courses. In this case, students complete 60 credit hours to receive the MSIT degree.

 • Core Courses - 30 credit hours
 • Specialization Courses - 9 credit hours
 • Graduate Thesis - 6 credit hours
