The Preston University-Ajman Gold Medalist Committee announces the candidates for Gold Medals who will be recognized on October 9, 2011 during the 6th Convocation Ceremony.

Following are the Gold Medalist Criteria followed during the evaluation and selection process.
- GPA of 3.9/ 4 or highest percentage in his or her batch
- No dropped subject throughout the course of study
- No semester dropped throughout the course of study
- Is not a credit transfer student
- No special or supplementary exams attempted
- No disciplinary action
- No outstanding fees
Any aggrieved party can contest or challenge the decision of the committee. The aggrieved party must write a letter of contention addressed to the Committee Chairman-Gold Medalists and attach a copy of the official transcript.
Additionally, the aggrieved party is given a 15-day grace period (August 25-September 8, 2011) to file the letter of contention. Beyond this period, without any submitted contention in writing, the committee shall consider only the above-mentioned candidates as recipients of gold medals for the 6th Convocation Ceremony. The decision of the committee is considered deemed final.
